In our Membership Covenant, we state that the local church is a group of believers living life together. Living life together means having honest, transparent conversations about where we are and where we are going.
We take our call to steward faithfully the resources God has given us very seriously. This page is designed to be a transparent 'family meeting' so you can see exactly how we are stewarding our finances, what our current needs are, and how you can faithfully and joyfully participate fully in the life of Redemption Story Church.

Where We Stand: 2026 Financial Update
We are currently running a ministry structure that naturally costs about $900,000 on a $750,000 revenue base. We've managed this by operating with constraint, but this is not sustainable long-term to care well for our people and our facility.
With these challenges before us as a church, we ask you to prayerfully consider giving regularly to the church or increasing your giving through one of two avenues: Our General Fund or the Building Stewardship Fund.
Partnering in the Gospel: General Giving
We are incredibly grateful for our committed base of givers! Currently, about 60% of our monthly giving comes from recurring gifts. Predictable monthly cash flow is vital for managing our day-to-day operations and responding to ministry needs.
- If you are not currently giving: Would you prayerfully consider beginning?
- If you are currently giving: Thank you! If you are able, we encourage you to set up a recurring gift or consider slightly increasing your monthly gift.
A Note on Fees: To ensure the maximum amount of your gift goes directly to ministry, we strongly encourage using the ACH (bank routing) transaction option, which only carries a 1% fee. Please note that starting July 1, processing fees for Premium Cards (AMEX, Discover, etc.) will increase to 3.5% + 30¢.
Caring for Our Church: The Building Stewardship Fund (BSF)
While general giving supports our ministries and staff, our building requires maintenance that our current general budget cannot fully cover. Because we are called to faithfully steward these physical buildings, we have launched the Building Stewardship Fund.
The Goal: We are asking the Lord to provide $75,000 over the next 12 months.
How you can help: We are not asking for commitment cards or pledges. We are simply laying the need before you and asking you to pray. According to 2 Corinthians 8:13, we ask that you give what you can out of your means as the Spirit leads your conscience. (For context: If our regular givers committed an extra $70–$100 a month, we would reach this goal!)
