Those who serve as Community Group Leaders are passionate about making disciples of Jesus Christ through life on life gospel-saturated ministry. These volunteers lead a small group of members, attenders, and neighbors through practicing prayer, one-anothers, scripture devotion, and pursuing God’s mission with the goal of growth in Christ together. These groups meet in group leader’s or member’s homes throughout the greater Fort Worth area.
Membership Required: Yes, must also be actively participating in biblical community. If married, must be married at least one year.
Commitment: Weekly
Age Requirement: 19+

A godly marriage involves the purposeful effort of two people moving toward a healthy union with each other and with Christ. Premarital mentors will meet with engaged couples for 12 sessions as they discuss Catching Foxes, a material designed to help prepare couples for marriage.
Membership Required: Yes, should be married for 7+ years and active in Biblical community
Commitment: At least 12 Sessions with mentees, will serve as needed
Connections Ministries

Those who serve on our Connection Central Team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. Their ultimate goal is to reflect the radical hospitality of Christ through intentional and incarnational ministry to all people. Practically, these volunteers serve our attendees by helping them to identify and pursue opportunities for deeper belonging within RSC. These volunteers serve at least twice a month but can serve more regularly if they desire. They must be members and involved in some form of community at RSC regularly.
Membership Required: Yes, must be involved in community at RSC
Commitment: Twice monthly, Sunday services
Age Requirement: 18+

Those who serve on our Welcome team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. They intentionally work to create a hospitable, warm, and safe environment by greeting, ushering, and assisting attendees as the join services. Volunteers on the welcome team serve at least once a month but can serve up to every week.
Membership Required: No
Commitment: Once a month, Sunday services
Age Requirement: 14+

As a Table Leader for our Covenant Membership Class, you will have the opportunity of welcoming new brothers and sisters to RSC and will help us discern believers from wolves before extending the arm of covenant membership. The process is simple but weighty and will require dependence on the Holy Spirit to grant you wisdom and discernment.
Membership Required: Yes
Commitment: Three Sunday afternoons a year

Facilities Ministries

Will assist with the upkeep of facility management (minor repairs, facility setups, etc.)

Will reset the Worship Center after Sunday Services or after use (pick up trash, reset chairs, make sure chairs are stocked with pens and bibles, etc.)

Will assist with getting the Baptismal setup on Sunday before baptisms, assist with cleanup after baptisms.

NextGen Ministries

In our Preschool ministry, we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ. During the weekends, we sing, dance, and teach the Bible to the kids, focusing on our five foundational truths: God made everything, God is in charge of everything, God is good, Jesus came to save sinners, and God wants to talk with us.
Membership Required: Yes
Commitment: Once a month, during Sunday service
Age Requirement: 16+

In our Elementary ministry, we work to continue building up a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We do this by teaching our kids about the nature and character of God—that He is wise, generous, loving and good. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by creating environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ. On the weekends, we worship through song, tell stories from the Bible and gather in small groups by age to talk about Scripture together.

Commitment: Once a month, during Sunday service

In our Check-in ministry, volunteers welcome families as they check-in their children for StoryKids. They ensure each child is checked-in to the correct room and help new families navigate how StoryKids is set up. This is a ministry of hospitality!

Commitment: Bi-Weekly, at the beginning of Sunday service

Our Student Ministry (6th–12th grade) is a place for students to have fun, find community, and explore and live out their faith. Leading students to develop a faith of their own in Jesus Christ is the goal of our ministry. Our hope is to partner with parents in helping students go deeper with each other, their leaders and, most importantly, God.

Commitment: Weekly, Wednesday Night

At Redemption Story church our desire is to be a light to the community that God has placed us in. We have a few universities near us and we want to be a church that serves those students well. Every week we are gathering college students to share a meal together, spend some time in the word, and have time to connect and fellowship with others. We would love to have you join us any time!

Worship Center Ministries

We are looking for weekly team leaders to help facilitate communion for one Sunday service a month. You would be in charge of preparing communion and recruiting communion servers for your assigned service.

The goal of our Worship Ministry is to remind hearts of the gospel through songs and services which lift up the name of Jesus. We are needing volunteers for both our main church services as well as Children’s and Student’s Ministries.

The goal of our Production Team is responsible for the set-up and monitoring of all Worship Center audio and video equipment. The Production Team focuses attention and removes distractions by crafting a professional mix to allow the gospel to be heard through singing songs unto the Lord and hearing the Word taught.
